We have recently had a complete refurbishment to the nursery school, with a fresh new look. We feel it is important to offer a bright, warm and cozy environment for your children to thrive. Your children spend a lot of time with us…it’s important that they get that home from home feel here at Cherry Tree!
A HOME FROM HOME ENVIRONMENT
We have taken extra care to ensure our baby room thoughtfully reflects your baby’s home routine for eating, sleeping, and even nappy changes, helping them settle quickly and keeping home life as seamless as possible.
We created a full range of age-appropriate activities for your little one, including messy play, painting, sand play, storytelling, and sensory fun. Our Baby Music & Movement Programme sparks motor skills, group play, and sensory growth with a variety of music styles, from classical to hip-hop. We also enjoy outdoor adventures with garden play and walks.
At Cherry Tree, we provide a loving and nurturing environment that feels like an extension of home. A step forward in skill building
For children who are usually walking to three years old, we pay particular attention to developing toddlers’ skills at their own pace, recognising that every child is a unique individual.
Naturally, we know the value of arts and crafts, water and sand play, messy play, painting and imaginative play. We also know that music, movement, singing and storytelling are valuable necessary ingredients of childcare and development at this age. However advanced our learning activities may be, they are always centred around play and fun.
PREPARING TO MAKE SCHOOL DAYS, HAPPY DAYS
Rapid development continues during the years from age 3, to starting school. It’s a vitally important time and we at Cherry Tree are committed to providing the best daycare environment to help your child prepare for school, making the transition to school life an easy and successful one.
That’s why, in our Pre-school areas, the emphasis is on continuing to promote independence and confidence. We do this through a wide range of play activities which support literacy, problem solving, reasoning and co-ordination.
A typical pre-school day includes enhancing communication skills through music and movement, learning to care for each other, sensory play, and imaginative activities like dressing up as superheroes or dinosaurs. Shared games teach turn-taking, while storytelling offers calm moments that connect sounds, words, and pictures. Technology is part of the fun too, with Vtech toys, musical trains, and tablet games helping children develop early tech skills…the list goes on!
